Why do I think of you in the morning?
and before I close my eyes at night
Why does the breeze whisper your name?
haunting the meadows of my life
Take me or leave me, leave me alone
I hurt from the blades of life's knife

My heart is bleeding with love for you
tears from wishful eyes of blue
Let me love and share my love true
do not let fate wish adieu

Each day that passes is a day lost forever
a page within fate's photo album
Let us share our love, and endeavor
do not let the blades of life's knife sever

OH MY what a beautiful poem....

The longing is so evident... sentimentally lovely... and evocative...

regards,
