Sweet Dreams I kiss you softly and whisper low Your arms draw me so close, I long to tell you all I feel But I just don't know how. Your eyes look deep into my heart Can you see yourself reflected there? You are every breath I take The longing is so hard to bear. I've loved you for so very long, You must have known by now My heart just aches to tell you so But yet I can't somehow. The thunder sounds and I awake, The tears come when I find, I'm only dreaming once again, And I've left you far behind. |

Shy lady - This is a very sweet poem of longing and growth. Let me be the first male in the forums to welcome you. And a fortunate occurrence this is, too. There are scalawags in here who you need to be very wary of *g*. I am the only man in here you can believe. So, please tell me all your secrets and I will be sure they are never told to everybody else like I did with other members in here (oops).  |
