She Waits I’ve never sang a love song Or wrote a sonnet for you But, I’ll sing a song of loves refrain Just to steal a kiss or two She waits with unguarded passions Like the heart that sings this tune, And asks the unbridled questions? In whispers to the crescent moon. Oh enchanter of earthly lovers, Send a spell that I can use tell cupid I need his wonder and some arrows to shoot my muse She waits this darling of passions For a sign that might get through And we watch with wishful emotions At a dream, that we all dream too. Oh enchanter of earthly lovers, Send a spell that she can use Take the heart that put her under And bind it to her with loving glue. She waits this poet of passions For the moon to help her through I wonder if he is listening If not, there’s only one thing to do! Forget him and kiss me you fool.
