It was a great honor to write this with you, my love.

*Abrahm

*Krista

The willows weep in veiled green
And sway in silent prayer
As the essence of eternity
Clings softly on the air...

Heaven's tears slide from boughs
And hallow darkened land
As two lost souls fade and flicker,
Stumbling on shifting sand...

Ashen skyline harshly swells
With pain's relentless hunger
Through silvered rain you call to me
While dreams are torn asunder...

Tormented by sulfur's scorn
I plummet, broken winged
Beginnings swathed in midnight pall
Forging blades 'til I'm ringed...

Onyx blood curves 'round your form
Bathed in moistened moonlight
I only hope your tempest quiets
Once I'm held within your sight...

Ebony shroud draws tighter
Constricting frail mother's form
I close my eyes and am captured
Swept into leaden storm...

Then 'pon your trembling note I grasp
Giving strength to prevail...

And woven in our melody
We fly from midnight's gale.

Krista and DuskTreader~

This is as lovely a duet as I've seen.
What loving thoughts fly from your pens
to magically grasp the ink of another
in it's embrace.

WOW !
Such a lovely, lovely write.
And love the presentation !
I'm impressed and captured in the midst
of your phrases.

Writing from the heart and soul....from
eachother's....it's evident that the two are
combined as one.  Beautiful work to you
both...you each have your own personal style
but combined you have one that is unique and
can only be seen when you've joined them...a
rare and special gift.  Thank you for
sharing this beautiful piece~
