     “REACH FOR YOUR RAINBOW”

Reach for your rainbow, and touch the sky,
for magical visions, will come on by.
A hue of colors that will encircle you,
and one of those, will be a very soft blue.

The color of your eyes, and the color of mine,
becomes even softer, when they are combined.
Yours are like emeralds, and mine soft sky blue,
but only when my loving lips, are all over you.

Won’t you hold me, during the dawn,
as we watch the sky, fresh, like a newborn fawn?
And then we can chase your rainbow over there,
that speaks to us, about how much we care.

Kiss the stars, and then kiss me,
and I’ll show you things, just wait and see.
Soft, soft lips, touching on mine,
you’ll never see the likes of them, anytime!

Wanting you, and you wanting me,
let’s get together, and then we’ll see.
All those soft touches, and heightened awareness,
will drive each other, until we’re wildly breathless.

Loving you, and you loving me,
discovering the magic, which we might be.
There are so many cherished affections,
as we look up high, into the heavens.

Did you reach for your rainbow, and touch the sky,
when I saw you standing there, as I went by?
Was it that pot of gold you sought, in the valley there,
or was it I that you really wanted, when you became aware?

So reach for your rainbow, and touch the sky,
your dearest beloved will never deny.
That you can perceive, the magic of the light,
as we search for your rainbow, into the night.

Bill~
Such lovely thoughts to kick off the Sunday
afternoon of hazy skies with sunlight filtering through.

Perhaps there will be a rainbow !
Thanks for sharing.

Bill

Another one of your great masterpieces.  Your poems make the reader feel like he/she is right there reaching for that rainbow.  Nice reading.

"Kiss the stars and then kiss me"
it doesn't get better than that.
This is lovely, Bill.

Bill this is beautiful. I also particularly liked the "kiss the stars and then kiss me" line. I am looking for my rainbow, though it is hard to see at times. Your writing is very romantic, I always enjoy it.
