I'm a wanderer, a nomad...I don't live in one particular area, Just wherever I end up.

If you want to know me
Look to the stars
They reveal so much more
Than I could ever wish or dare to.
If you look under the sign
The archer- she stands
Strong-willed and proud
Exquisively poised
Ready to strike
at any moment....

The stars will tell you
That behind her quiet exterior
Lies great depth, emotion, complexity
and a fierce
Determination
that no one will ever truly know.

She does not live lightly
nor does she dare live
Superficially
She lives for passion
and would gladly die for her independence

But there are times
when this strong sign cries
alone
which is what she prefers
Most of the time...

When it comes to others
She is cautious-
even suspicious
trust doesn't come easily to her

But when she decides
to give someone her soul (her trust)
She is intensely loyal
and devoted.
But beware of her arrows
Which will peirce your soul in a second
if you cross her....
For if you betray her
she can hate-
retaliate-
with as much ferver as she once loved.

She is very magnetic
(especially to the opposite sex)
They want her
even when they can't quite pinpoint
the exact reason why.

A gambler and adventurer at heart
An independent soul
so very restless...
Her life is a journey
She will not tolerate any
limitations....

But when she cries
She will always cry alone
But that's how she prefers it
Most of the time...

umm, yanno, Mistress - this ain't a pretty picture of you - lol.  I'm a little leary of that magnetic thing, too.  I've tried archery myself, and I still remember how much easier it is to hit a target if you can get closer to it first.  Using man-magnets is just NO FAIR!!!  I like the way you restated the last verse - that tells a great deal about you.  This is nice work you've done here - back to the top it goes.

Wow - very well written!  Excellent addition to the challenge.  My Aunt is a saggitarius and I will now see her in a different light because of your poem.  I am sure in writing this piece, it has allowed you to understand yourself a bit more and why it was written in the stars for you to be a saggitarius

Take care,
Melissa Honeybee
