A horse is a horse...of course

Looking around for some Love to be found
not knowing who or when or why.
Wanting to share all my feelings inside
oh where or where does my sweetheart reside?
We meet and we part our desires too far apart
to fit the criteria we engraved in our hearts.
So much pain and confusion
still my life is a beautiful illusion
when viewed thru kaleidoscope eyes.
Oh where oh where is she will be my constant cry.
Perhaps I'm looking for Love in all the wrong places
methinks perhaps a dead horse can tell no lies.
Yes a horse is a horse of course of course
and now a fact looking me straight in the eyes
you can never ride a dead horse
so why take the time to try.

James, sometimes it does seem as though Love is not on our agenda, and when that feeling hits as hard as what you've expressed here, it is most difficult. A dear friend of mine believes with all that is in his heart that there is always Hope, and he often shares that belief with me. I even find myself sometimes thinking that there may, indeed, be something to that.

This is a moving expression of your feelings, James.

I like your poem but, but it puzzles me. You are a sweet, gentle, and loving person - I can tell by the writings that you have posted. Hang in there - your princess might just arrive on a beautiful white horse. Never give up.
