In The Soft Dawning
~*Marge Tindal*~

Brush my cheek with one light kiss
softly feathered in moments of bliss
Touch my cheek with feathered sigh
long after the moon has gone by
Take me here and now
to passionate heights
In the soft dawning
after the night

Kisses upon eagles wing
Caressing your cheeks so soft
A song is left for you to sing
As my feather sends your heart aloft

Luna's light smiles upon you
As you awake to midnights kiss
Awaiting the kiss of morning dew
Wanting to send you home in heavens bliss

Marge, there is that "feathering" time, just after the night...those few suspended moments. You have brought them tenderly into my mind with this treasure. Lovely writing.

Waking to the sweetness of love...
does it get any better than that?
"Have a good day" is redundant afterward, eh?
Thanks Marge for another thrill...

No touch can match a lover's touch
No feather's brush I love so much
To know I'm loved when loving's done
To be still wanted when passion's run
In the light of dawn's first glowing
This love is wanted past all knowing

(Just wanted you to know how inspiring you are   )

I thank you SO MUCH for bump-diddy-bumping this one ... if for no other reason ... so I could tenderly read again the reply of Wilfred Yeats ...

What a pure treasure to be reminded of him~
