Pushed
by a body cold
I watch you, pitter-patter
eagerly over the shore
against beaten rocks

stretching, you kiss
the surface, marking
your area of play,
a wavy contoured
line

and I witness
the step of gulls, oh
how this very scene
takes me back to
a time, a time?
oh look at the time!

'til tomorrow
my friend

again, I will listen
to your whispers
and watch you
no, feel you
pit-a-pat
a greeting
a kiss
a touch
a tingle
over my
skin

DarkAngel~
What lovely thoughts ride the very movement of time in this piece.

You just keep drawing us into your world.
Beautiful.
