Luna's Delight

Walks in the dark
Talks in the night
Hands held in light
Of Luna's delight

Hearts all aglow
Breasts heaving high
Lips quiver tight
Heaven's little sigh

Eyes dance to song
Hands follow tune
Lust taps in time
Love is coming soon

Fingers laced to peace
Words spoken soft
Arms set to entwine
Souls sent aloft

Ears ringing proud
Hair flowing down
Truth touches sky
In starkissed gown

Walks in the dark
Talks in the night
Hands held in light
Of Luna's delight

Mark Bohannan

Mark, I agree with Sudhir...this reads like an evening of romance bathed in moonglow. So lovely...

I like the simplicity of this poem, Mark!
Concisely written with a soft feel.

One minor typo, I think...
"Hands helds in light"  s/b hands held in light?

Mark~
Oh, like is this too beautiful or what ?
You know what that moon does to me !

Light cascade of Luna glow
bathing rays of sheer delight
In lap of luxury lay me down
dance moonbeams on my heart this night

Wrap my heart in tenderness
in the afterglow of Luna phase
Showing with the morning glowing
As Sun gowns the meadow with her rays

I swear I just love it when that happens !
Thank you, cowboy, for the inspiration.

You said that this was simple.....I hardly
think so...the beauty in it is profound and
the peace and grace within the folds of
it's beams are magnificent...I loved every
line as it was penned in the moonlight of
your heart. Exquisite writing my dear friend~

Liz-Thank you so much and worry not YOUR words have an eloquence of their own.

Holly-Care to ride the moonbeams with me again?  Rainbows at midnight await us at the other side.

Mark,
mystical moonbeams, marooned maudlin, muse and magnified the moment.
Marvellous

let lunacy befall on this night of dashing stars that take hold of the fullness of the moon and dance into new dimensions in awesome form they envelope the skies that sends us gazing with moonbeams in our eyes..
beautiful Mark absolutely undoubtly delicious.
