Listening to every heart

What Should Be

The thread of love
visible only by the bond it ties
should not be broken, if love is true.

                  (Love is true)

The kiss that you give, your warm blooded
lips on mine, that love should not
   be shared with another.

                  (Love not shared with another)

The winter winds whistle around me ~

but you are warm to the naked flesh,

the summer rays streaking towards me

           now bronze colored flesh
this flesh is yours in love

(Love for me what is mine)

Should you break the slender silver
thread; should you share your love
with another, should you abuse my
love and break me, then forget me….

For then I will know I loved wrong
and shall cease from the mistake I made.

Karilea~
Thoughts as timeless as to remain on the
pages of the heart forever.

The ink of this penning is yet damp with memories.

Wonderful, dear poet.

Message heard loud and clear in this one my friend.  You have penned another beauty and in your style of grace it shines bright and deep.  You knew it would though so no surprise to you.  Loved it much.
