In a quiet place away from the world
With his words she finds herself curled
And gets herself lost in the wonder of those words
They are to her, amongst the sweetest she has heard

With every line he speaks to her heart
She compares them to her favorite works of art
Every stanza remains deep inside her soul
Filling her with warmth, making her whole

And when her heart is healed, her soul renewed
She looks back at the words that she has viewed
And sees before her, that in each and every line
His love for her does indeed truly shine.

Sven~
What gentle inspiration you send.

Tenderly you touch the horizons of the heart
and set the night aglow
Love comes to rest so gently penned
from the inkwell of your soul

Thank you.

Aah there are many quiet places for the soul to rekindle it's light.  Why does this sound familiar? LOL
As usual Sven beautifully and sensitively penned as only you can do!

Sven,

Very nice writing my friend.  It will always shine, I bet.  No, I know it will.

Wonderful and beautiful work.

Sven, we should all have that quiet place in which to curl up with the words and thoughts of the one we love. I believe this to be one of the prettiest poems you've shared here, my friend. Just beautiful...I'm looking for my quiet place.

Beautiful Sven! Though love often hides, it cannot be mistaken when reading through the lines of tender verses such as these. Nicely penned!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Oh Seven, this touched me deeply, as I have found this special place and love. I wrote about it once, "Hold me Lord".  Thank you for this one. Bless you much today as your heart and beautiful words in poetry continue to shine. Love, Marcy

~~~Sven~~~
To find a place like this of total happiness and love....it is a dream that many share....
   I am searching for
   a place to call my own
   a secret place where I can roam
   drifting far away from my home
   a place of peaceful fairytales
   like marrying a king
   a place where I can soar high
   on a white dove's wing
   for now I will be content
   to continue on my search
   and after all my dollars are spent
   my place will be there...
   waiting...
   for me...
You've inspired me...great post I loved it!!
Julie :)
this is very comforting, like a pasture where we find rest in our words and the words of others.
Sven, you have done it yet again.  I find that love is sometimes the hardest of emotions to convey properly in writing.
It's the little things that display it so well.  When you look back at the words, you can see the love within.
Beautiful.
Sven,
this piece is so gentle and soothing, so poetic. Words fail me.
