TEARS OF THE NIGHT

In nights of slumber
A soul does not rest
Upon tears etched in pillow
A heart does confess
Of love once had and now is gone
Yearning for answers where she belongs
Come early sunrise a smile does shine
Hidden behind tears of night.

Coco....

Are you hiding somewhere in my space?? You just wrote my feelings, and did a great job of it too. (You can come out of my closet now!!!)

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!

~Wow Coco,...your words come sad yet soft at the same time. Wonderfully written expression. A sort of window here. Take care now. *Peace.

Oh Cocibaci, wonderfully written piece, draped in sadness, loved the poem.

Incredible writing!
I really like this poem.
Thanks for sharing.
Here's one for you.

Of sweet love once kissed

More nights that end with dew
But still I smile thinking of you
The phone rings with you in mind
Now endless tears are left behind

Coco

If my pillow could type, it would write a novel.  You captured my thoughts.

I cannot find the words to say how you've made my heart smile today...

Though I don't speak much in poetic post verse this one I've shared it bares my soul...

Thank you 'ALL' for the warm embrace...

So many tears of the night.. so many smiles it takes to cover them... this is lovely, my friend...the candor in this piece is striking.
