(Heavily rewritten vers. Of 4/98 poem) Close your lovely eyes keeper of my heart Let your imagination start to rove Let me guide you on a sweet journey Let me tell you all aspects of my love Close your eyes and hear the soft words Tread different pathways to your heart Without sound just deep sense of voice Hear the deep emotion of my part Close your eyes and feel my presence All of my warmth you will agree The passion forge within my flesh Conveys all that our love shall be Close your eyes, just let my breath flow Let it's flowing on skin soft caress you The silent message that I'm sending I'll tell you gently as I always do Close your eyes and feel my closeness Rest your head sweetly upon my chest Hear the pounding there within me Bass drum, beating to a high crest By your touch it is made throbbing And so strongly it does resound Rumbles all through the heavens With you it will never be bound Open your eyes now, and see me Gaze deeply now into my eye See all the love that resides there Forever though all seasons fly Use your eyes, watch me placing kisses, My lips lightly touching your skin Kiss here, a kiss there, a kiss, and stare It's just a way for love to begin Feel the security of my arms As we embrace and we snuggle Bands of armor, soft as silken thread Keeping you secure with no struggle Close your eyes again now my love Feel the freedom, know my love will last Find the confidence in knowing My strong passion now holds you fast With true love, abiding and secure love. Love you've inspired, love for only you Feel strength, and passion for you love Sweet and fresh as early morning dew ~Why not seize the pleasure at once? How often is happiness destroyed by preparation, foolish preparation? ~ Jane Austen ~ wilfredyeats@hotmail.com |

Bill, this was a riveting, sensory journey in word. Lovely thoughts shared. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |
