My hats off to Nan's humor challenge,
I enjoyed it very much...
now how about lets try the other way..
in dark, scarey, horror poems if you will...
any style will do...as long as it is scarey!!!!!
an example of mine below...

Triology of Terror (Triolets)
(my dark horror challenge)

I

Your heart beats faster, now it pounds.
Terror wells, choking off your scream.
The shriek echoes as it rebounds.
Your heart beats faster, now it pounds,
Listening to those frightful sounds.
Realizing it's not just a dream,
Your heart beats faster, now it pounds.
Terror wells, choking off your scream.

II

Now drowning in dark silence there,
You're holding your breath out of fear.
There frozen in time with shocked stare.
Now drowning in dark silence there,
Red, evil eyes appear and glare.
Panic grabs you tight, as they near.
Now drowning in dark silence there,
You're holding your breath out of fear.

III

Trembling, cold sweat drips from brow,
As death nears, then passes you by.
While fear still holds you frozen now,
Trembling, cold sweat drips from brow.
Fears cold grip now lets go, head bows.
Lungs fill with air, then lets to sigh.
Trembling, cold sweat drips from brow,
As death nears, then passes you by.

Sudhir ~ your compliment I accept and hold
         high....thank you
and pleased would I be if you loaded
your pen with blood red ink and
would give us all a good scare with
         your words...   SB

I think this is a cool challenge.  I believe that I will take part.

Your peom was excellent and it may take some work to do a more impressive job. I don't know if this can be accomplished, but I'm sure that there will be many to try.

I doubt my pen is able to gush out (gush out?) blood as good as yours...but I'll see about squeezing a few drops out of it

(That supergrin (I still say it's a Hallowmeen mask) is the closest my writes get to scarey. *L*)

Juls ~ Yes that is a good way to put it.. I
really am not that big a fan of horror
but I find writing these  to be fun
and must be some inner release of
       feelings  or fears maybe...thanks for
       your time and thoughts...   SB

Doreen ~ who are you trying to fool? I know
all to well your  ability to gush
       forth untold excellence in whatever
you attempt, and that your beauty and
       kindness is unquestionable... thanks
       for  your most appreciated words....

Kethry ~ I do try....thank you so much   SB
