**An old write which may or may not qualify for the humorous challenge. It's about writer's block, with unfinished poems ending up in the garbage. The decrepit accepting receptacle taken to task rescued chewed and crumbled regrets like a plump egret well satisfied having lied, Nay, laid the staid egg of illcontent, now spent. After tasting unbasted chicken bones and unvexed moans and groans of love much prefer the gag-ragged fur spurs and small balls of tattered shawl to line its tin confines, minus the pricking pins of remorse of course. Write right or write wrong, it doesn't matter, former or latter, what caused the tatters, shreds and snips of misguided derision. Bites of snipes and gripes bitten, smitten and written with jazzy pizzazz bounce their hay day way to the bottom. Fill the can, man, with brash trash, pieces of peace and rank-and-file spanking. You can full-tank bank on it, it will be thanking you too! < !signature--> --...chanson~ "Music, when soft voices die, Vibrates in the memory..." P.B. This one was a fun one indeed and we all have had writers block...but NEVER toss the unfinihed one away. You may come back to them some day and find them being complete. Loved it much and I walk away smiling thanks to you. |

Chanson, well writ poem. I like the alliteration but my tongue nearly had apoplexy trying to say it out loud. *Laughs.* Be well Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |
