No Greater Love

No greater love will be shown,
No greater love will be known.
From his heavenly home above,
God showed the world his love.

He sent down his only son,
In him we will all be one.
On the day he was sacrificed,
Jesus paid the ultimate price.

With his death he took our sins away,
To him we continue to pray.
Some day I will go to my heavenly home,
There the streets of gold will be mine to roam.

On the day that I die,
I'll join God at his side.
Until then I can only pray,
While I wait for that day.
