“BECAUSE OF MEETING YOU” My deepest emotions are enhanced, and my torrid pen, has been quickened… I find it’s all because of meeting you, that my writings are further awakened… A poem in my head is one that I write, but I see yours, giving me inspirations… Do I hide some of my inner most feelings, or do I give up, all of my abdications? I want to write about softly touching, and seeing you, as you are in my dreams… Knowing your tender lips, but do I dare, can it be whatever it really seems? Two roses sent, straight from the heart, so tender and loving, showing that I cared… What will I do, should I place you in my poems, will everything then, become all bared? So my pen floats all over this parchment, but holds back some of my sublime thought… Never knowing if I might give it all away, or should I write, revealing all I have sought? Then I sit here and write, but have I, thoughts that are being, and ones that lack? But she knows, because they are there, and it’s harder to hold, many of them back… You’re an inspiration that has touched me, and I also found more in your voice… Magic brought us together, but perhaps, it was also by destinies choice… Bill Charles |
