Orange Crush And What's The Rush

Circled 'round and up and through
streams of laughter slide,
down hilltops cleansed and trickled by
to overflowing tides.
Salted streets and pickled air
where sounds of smiles fly,
where contact breathes and eyes are wide
to buttons never tied.
Orange Crush and what's the rush when
time is on our side?
We're circling 'round and up and through
with happy in our hands.
We're tasting life with options clear
and sifting through the sands.
So, it's orange crush
and hey, what's the rush,
when time right now is good?

Spitfire, the song "orange crush" by R.E.M just popped into my head and that was an anti war song, ok ranting, loved the poem, suits this sunny day perfectly. No rush at all.

No rush at all on this blistering day.  Loved every line and so aptly named as well.
