Oh Nik, it's so great... Sometimes it's really hard to be "perfect" and stand up to everybody's expectations...

P.S. I Love Alanis!!! Especially "Ironic" speaks to me... you that verse:

you know i enjoy your poetry!
and this one is no exception!
parents sometimes forget that they often put too much pressure on their kids to succeed..and they sometimes forget to praise you...but they do love you...i just hope they dont forget to tell you that soon.

Hi Nik, all I can say here, is never let anyone make you feel less than fine the way you are! I know its easier to say, and hard to do . Cheer up, dear, someday you will not mind so much. And one more thing, they probably do love you tons, and just don't know how to show it.

Nik, I like it very much. There are many people in their growing up years that have these exact same thoughts. They only want to be loved and accepted for the fact that they are doing the best they can. You have described this in a very sincere way
