The leaves are falling from the trees, they lie scattered on the ground. Like a puzzle that has fell apart, though quietly, without sound. It makes me sad to see them, so helplessly lying there. The season for them is over, and their tree is left empty and bare. A question forms in my mind. Is it possible trees get cold? But I suppose that they adapt, when winter assumes its role. My comfort comes from the knowledge, of seasons they've already endured. Knowing the leaves will return in the spring, brings a smile and I am reassured. < !signature--> If you can't make it so, you need to let it go! This is lovely, Kitty...I hope the leaves are falling for all of the right reasons...[and I only say this because we are in the midst of a drought, and it will not be a glorious fall...] |

Thanks Sunshine! Fall is my very favorite time of year and it always makes me 'kinda' sad..;-( We have had rain,rain,and more rain, and that can get as frustrating as a drought.. Kitty~ So lovely are the colors of fall ... you've let me envision the beauty. I always thought it peculiar that trees denude in the winter ... even here in Florida there are some that strip down to the bare nuthin's ! Autumn is my favorite time of the year. I love the thought of the trees getting cold. I had never thought of that. What a great thought, thank you! Kathleen |

Irish Rose...Oooops! Thank you..I 'corrented' the 'seanons'...;-) GOSH, I HATE to misspell a word and I have gotten so I do it all the time.. Maybe the age has something to do with it, Ya know ??
