A Little Touch O' Denim ~*Marge Tindal*~ Funny thing struck me when reading poetry about women It's all purtied up in silk, satin and lace rarely in a touch of denim Oh, I can do the frills and the fancy-dancy frocks But give me a touch of denim and I'll knock off your socks ! I'll be your maiden fair with lacey bows and such But let me have my denim and you'll know my wildest touch Something raw and wild can be found in this quill of penning Deck me out in the fabric of my life A Little Touch O' Denim ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Hi Marge, No can do....women are satin, lace, soft whispers, fresh air after a rain and etc. At least, in my opinion. Now this is a poem I can relate to, denim lets the wild side of me out. Not the office manager, not the neat and tidy mum. None of those feel free, but put me in denim and pow, I'm back to the days of Uni and sunshine. Well done Marge lovely poem, of course because you wrote it, so it would be. And all the others out there, will be remembering their denim days.  |

This tickled me - Great poem Marge I've often said - when a woman is beautiful to me (regardless of physical attributes - or the lack) - I will sincerely tell her - she'd look good to me -even in a burlap sack. I will now add to that -"or denim" |
