My heart is so fragil, please handle with care,
treat it like it is a precious gem stone, that
is so very rare.

Please hold it and cherish it till the end of time,
because I gave it to you, when I knew you were mine.

Things have happened, when it was left in your care,
now it's in need of major repair.

I know you can do it with just a little care,
replenish the luster that we once shared.

But while my heart is on the mend, Please be kind
with it, and keep trying to show me, how much
you love it again.

It will respond to your loving ways, but Please be
gentle, it's in a fragil state.

I love you more than life itself,but I won't be able
to stand, being set aside somewhere on a shelf.

I've tried to prove my love to you, and this I think
you know, so Please be kind to my fragil heart because
it still loves you so.

Diane, I do believe this is the first one of yours that I have had the pleasure of reading. So, "Hello!" to you and might I say that this is a beautiful poem.
I would have to echo Nan's sentiments. Each heart is indeed fragile. You speak for yourself and for us all!

Thanks Nan for your comments,the Heart is
always fragil but there are times it becomes more so than others.

I think this is my 4th poem that I have Posted here on Passions but I will be posting
here more as time allows.

love is there it's the trust I seem to have the problem with hopefully time will also heal that pain.

Thank You Beth, I really Like Passions Forum
I will be posting here as much as I can.
I am trying to get past a very difficult time in my life and not being on the computer
all the time will help, although the people here helped me very much last weekend in my darkest hours and I am So grateful to everyone for being here . God Bless all of you.
