Presenting to you, our family and friends at Passions...... A duet by Sunny Conley and Bill Charles, written together, for the romantically inclined! "We've dimmed the Lights, and Locked the Doors" [Her thoughts:] I know where you are…so many miles…so very far… But in my mind… you’re standing right here…next to me… I can feel your lips…your gentle touch…your fingertips… Your soft blue eyes are full of love for me to see… When I hold you tight… you chase the darkness from my night… You’re everything that I could want and so much more… There is just one thing…it’s true…I close my eyes and when I do… You dim the light and then you lock the door… [His answer:] My heart aches…sometimes it cries…the distance is so great… But my head twirls…and I have visions…of only you… My lips on yours…soft delights…feeling your warmth forever more… I gaze into green eyes…emerald they are…sparkling for a new love… An embrace is total… a word softly said… and fingers in your hair… You’re a sensuous woman…wanting compassion…and body knowing… And as we lay together… a passionate crave… to touch all of you… But first I get up… and I dim the light and then I lock the door. [Her thoughts:] When I come to you… I’ll give a heart forever true… Two arms to hold you close and rock you in the night… Deep inside our love… we’ll journey to the stars above… And then together we will share such pure delight… Look into my eyes…you’ll see the truth I can’t disguise… And all the magic that is yours forevermore… When you come to me… I’ll show you such sweet ecstasy… But first… you dim the light and then you lock the door… [His Answer:] Your gracious heart I can see… in everything that you do… Arms of softness… holding me… and enticing me to you… You say we’ll journey to the stars above… I’ll take you there slowly, and you’ll touch each one… And give you all my magic… you will never want to let go… Come to me my lover…and I’ll start our journey… But first… I dim the light and then I lock the door… [Her thoughts:] Someday there will be a special place for you and me… Where our two hearts will both be free to love again… I have come to know you… and I try so not to show you… That you’ve suddenly become more than a friend… When I go to sleep… I always pray the Lord to keep… I also pray I’ll meet you in my dreams once more… You’re an answered prayer… because I find you standing there… And then you turn… You dim the light… And you lock the door… [His answer:] That special place…I know is out there… somewhere… And two fragile hearts will come together… and heal… I know of your secret… but never you worry… A friend has passed… and something more has become… The Lord will keep you… one of such tender heart… And dreams one day… will become our reality… And I will be standing there… for you to caress and hold… But before I do… I turn…, And I dim the light…, And then I lock the door… We would once again like to say thankyou for the inspiration found here among our friends!
