Could I ask you one question?

If I, with ticket in hand
give flight to dreams that
so passively but precariously perch
and give reality to my
need to see you smile
and the distance between
is negated to a minus six
and there is only a we
no longer a you and a me
and I give possession
to you every part of me...
and when comes the
eventual time for goodbye
how will I force my feet
back into feathered slippers
and leave the best part of me behind?

Corazon, now THERE is a question asked by many, though not as eloquently as you...I wish there were an answer but I don't think there is. Sometimes you just have to follow the NIKE theory.....

after the goodbyes, most likely the shoes won't fit any more... trust me... Oh Well!...but.... it's probably worth it, y'know? after all... life is short... so Why Not?

I suppose the answer would be if he believes that you are the best part of him you and the slippers would stay...or something to that effect..James
