Enternal Sleep A weary shade of gray slumps upon my shoulder I turn to see his eyes dark and full of grief My heart seems to stop and takes a cigarette break for time is slipping deep into my desperate plea. A distant light shimmers laughing to see me here Voices swivel in spirals of immense lie & tears Perfection in the depths of me predicament will I step forward.... Mother, father, and family trying to hold me back this noose around my neck is getting tighter please let me fall, let me find her again and rest with her in eternal sleep. I liked the "Romeo and Juliet" theme in this. Kathleen |
