Haunting I lay here in bed In the lonilness of night And I hear you voice Echoing through my mind A ghost of what was. I toss and turn and try to sleep The memory of your touch Trailing so light against my skin In those passion filled nights Floats in my misty thoughts A cold lonely chill softly Sweeps over me as I think of you And I wonder as my eyes sting And my heartbreak grows Will you ever stop haunting me? |

I dont know that a lost love ever really quits haunting. Even if replaced with a better one and a stronger one we have a tendency to go back to the past in our minds at different points. Wonderful write my friend. Liked it much. |

Lonliness is revenage of the soul, he who looses loves, gains lonliness. This was a beaurtiful poem. |

rosepetals25... This is 'hauntingly' beautiful, and I felt a chill as I read it through! Wonderful writing!! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |
