Love Unconfined

Drowning in a living sea of waking dreams.
I fight off the iniquities that fate so deems.
I go to her with my love unconfined and true.
Her beauty shimmers like translucent dew.
I yearn so to be tangled in her silken hair.
To be fettered to her eyes, sparkling there.
To spend eterne captive in my loves embrace,
But circumstance and distance denies us this place.
Forlorn, dejected, despirited, I bide this time of ordeal,
Anguishing over the hope of ever having my loves touch to heal.

"I yearn so to be tangled in her silken hair."

Steve, this line, in particular, moved me. The yearning here is quite clear.

You've chosen your title well for this piece, I believe.

SteveB~
Some very thoughtfully longing ideas here.

'To be fettered to her eyes, sparkling there.'

this is lovely and sad all at the same time...a very strong read, and yet your tenderness just shines through
