Sail On

Sail on--

    hypnotic swell
    challenging your sights.
    Urge them to lazy blues
    rolling to earthy hues of
    coy-embarrassment reds,
    capped clouds sporting
    purple iris heads.

Answer to the pull;
    stray blink in witness
    to the liberating style
    of the gull
    until mere specks
    trace the unflappable
    few.

Sail on--

    penetrating warmth,
    intent on the chase
    of the dimming sun.
