 There is something to be said for moonlight But what about when the moons sleeps There is something to be said for sunrise But what happens when the darkness creeps There is something to be said for beach walks But what is there when the snow falls There is something to be said for firelight But what happens when blazing summer calls There is something to be said for love songs But what happens when the music slows There is something to be said for sweet poetry But what is there when the muse goes There is something to be said for tender kisses But what is there when the kiss must cease There is something to be said for holding on tight But what happens when you loose the peace There is something to be said for loving you But what happens when you see the real me There is something to be said for mirrored souls But what happens when it’s not what you want to see There is always something left to be said But you can chose not to lend an ear There is always someone to tell you what they think But you are always there to hold me near There is something to be said for a true love But with it comes the acceptance of who I will be There is something shared between our two souls But this makes all the promises of love easy to see |
