Would You Know Me? Soulmate Soliloquy In my thoughts I often ponder these feelings alone make one wonder if true Soulmates we would ever be could you now then recognize me? If you were to search far then wide how should you know I did not abide right here hourly by your side… could, in daily view, I hide? You thought you had one, fine and true a soulmate’s friend, the words echoed in you now she’s vanished, you sit alone can there a soulmate be, outside a loveless home? If you viewed me sitting here with friends if our eyes would meet, imagine what then ~ question what might happen if I looked to you could green eyes then portend as to any other clue? Should I be dropped right before your feet would you know me on the street? Would you feel the chemistry born of other lives and times? Would you know if the truth were torn from your miserable hide? Or are you going to say “Kaput” and simply leave true love lie? Would you never see the love dying here and now before your eyes… In my thoughts I often softly ponder these feelings alone could make one wonder… If I could be your soulmate why can’t you be mine? 28 August 2000 Karilea When you want to be loved, look within...KRJ |

Thank you Lady, sounds "forced" to me, but today I'm my worst critic! Now, that should let some of those in that would love to tear it apart...and I say...HAVE AT IT! [I guess I'm ready for a make-over!] HA! |

Sunshine, I like this a lot. And since i am no ones critic except my own, (and maybe my husbands), I would never tear apart your poem. I will say the second half flowed better to me than the first. But the whole was still good, and the intense thoughts here, poured out with a little touch of anger. I would ask the same exact question of someone, but he won't answer me either! As usual, you write of things that touch me. catalinamoon |

love the thoughts, Sunshine. One half of soul-mates is like one bookend or one shoe...not worth much on its own |

sunshine... you definitely have a way with this poetry thing... hehe... you're GOOD at this! geez... yep... and yeah, what's one sock? could be a laundry quandary... y'know? it's best to believe in sole mates, no matter who's shoe it fits... (whatever that means)... great writing, my poet friend! (oh, and still haven't forgot our little "duet"... will do that soon and maybe you'll be ready to dance to it, too *smile*) |

If you were a male wolf - I could see you howling at the sky - for that mate to hear the excellence of your voice. and you know we males are told early in life "Faint heart ne'er won fair lady" In these millennial times - I see no reason you should not REALLY let your intended know ~S~ ~Love one human being purely and warmly, and you will love all. The heart in this heaven, like the sun in its course, sees nothing from the dew drop to the ocean, but a mirror which it brightens, and warms and fills. ~ Johann Richter ~ wilfredyeats@hotmail.com |
