Someone to Love You True I need to say a thing or two Let’s see, how do I start As I know when I’m finished You will have a broken heart. The pain of my broken marriage Is still hurting within my heart I’ve tried to get rid of it But, it just won’t seem to part. I thought I might be ready To move on with someone new Only for me to realize That it’s really hurting you. I know that I’m not ready Have never lived alone I think now is the time The time to find my own home. I must find out who I am Start living for myself Instead of living for others And putting my life on a shelf. I hope you’ll try real hard To understand just how I’m feeling I must move on with my life I must begin the healing. I wish you the best in life Hope you find someone new Someone who will love you Someone to love you true. |

Courage! This is what your poem speaks to me about...the courage to be ony our own when its so much easier to lean on someone else.
