Just pass it by I'll be seventy nine real soon And still fight battles in the noon. Fact, I can't remember the day Where least one, stand in my way. They rise like windmills in my path In constant movement full of wrath. Spit current winds that snort at me Raise dust like smoke so I can't see. Tower above the scenery Blow down upon the greenery Rapacious in their angry mood And just as often stand and brood. But I have learned to live with them I walk around their outskirts hem Pass them by without a cry Leave them their augmented vie. At my age it's better let lie, Then challenge every do or die. |

Seymour.... What good advice you offer in this poem!! It would benefit all ages, I believe......it is better to let things lie, sometimes!! Great writing here, my friend! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |
