The Shores of Alone

Ride with me through dreams of love
nectar flowing from above.
Daytime fades to force of night
join with you in stars soft light.

Drink with me of passions chalice
fly with me to distant palace.
Perch on edge of battlements
knowing what the Gods have sent.

Sit with me upon the moon
dream the dream of coming soon.
Lay me down in velvet night
feel the heat as we ignite.

Rapt illusion of my heart
with the dawn, do you depart?
Choose to fly so high and free,
come my dark knight, come to me...

Hey you know what?  I really really like this.  It is beautiful and the vision of sitting on the moon is quite entrancing.  Loved it much.

Ohhh...this is really nice, I too, like the idea of sitting on the moon...seems to be a favorite line of most!     I see now why you like MY writing - it's very much like yours!  Looks like we have some similar patterns and rhyme schemes...I will definately be reading more from you!  This was longingly romantic...*sigh*
