Tapestry's Ply (Sven's Challenge)

In the mid morning I wander, the open with you
The green of the grasses, the skies in their blue

Dressed in their finest, a tapesty mind
Weaving are thoughts of these moments in kind

A touch of our eyes, my hazel, your blues
Mirrored our souls, the depths in each, too

Desires the needs, to be met on this day
Weaving the fabric of romance in this way

Stood by that stream, heard the rushing white caps
Of the falls, as they silenced the tears from mishap

Held me in arms, tightly bonded were we
Pressed upon each, felt the rising to be

With wildness of nature within us, we danced
To the whispers and eyes all around us that glanced

Watching in view, were the creatures in awe
Our fabrics then blending, comfort each call

The lilt of the larks as they sang to us then
As the sun with its warmth, bathed us each, in the glen

Cradled me, you, by the waters that flow
Woven were we, in the rays of our glow

Rest upon each, looking up towards the sky
As the sun sets it's day, so must you and must I

A beginning of weaving the fabric of romance
These beautiful threads, did not happen by chance

They were spun from a love, and then needled through eye
To be added and woven in our tapestry's ply

        first. . . Thank you!!!

And now, this was excellent!  I'm glad that chanson was able to give you the final "push" that you needed to do this. . .

Just wonderful. . .

Maureen,
you make this look so graceful, so effortless, so easy. Love the poem

Kethry

sometimes...the words flow if the title or thought is there waiting to be expressed...
Sven's words  of the challenge were already stored inside me awaiting a chance to come out of hiding...thank you
~~softest warm {{hugs}} to you
