Sweet Breath of Poetry

I am swirling in paint
pull me out
throw me against the canvas
see all my melt and fathom

no this easel is clean
and not my turmoil

Is this heat music
can the drumming that is spirit
play the symphony
whose strings weep violin

where do I play
where sing this music
where explore the colors
that absorb my meaning
but poetry

sweet breath of my soul
poetry

You are always welcome here, Martie, but I'm afraid the couch is taken...a sweet breath of poetry you are...thank you my friend for touching my heart in the style that is yours alone...hugs.

Martie~
A such a 'fresh breath' you are !
Always refreshingly unique.

'can the drumming that is spirit
play the symphony
whose strings weep violin'

Oh, it not only can ... it does !

No artist with brush am I - if I am ever to achieve acclaim - it will be with the printed word -
You - on the other hand -at least in the eyes of all who've read you here, especially me - are an artist with words. - This canvas we call forum - is yours for words of meaningful color. - Paint on!

Some try and write poetry, some write poetry,

A beautiful picture you've painted with your flowing words Martie ... I envision a wonderful pastel watercolour painted with the brush of your delicate pen ... just lovely!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Most wonderful poetry flows as soft, sweet melody from words penned by you, Martie...

Most exquisite work here...

This cowboy was in need of some fresh paint and look what was thrown his way.  A little tube of paint with a Martie head.

Beautiful write my friend.  loved the intensity and the uniqueness of this.  You glow in your words.
