So many songs,  sang in so many words,
and with each one, the heart resonates a story.
of a thousand lives lived,  a thousand walks walked.

First in the journey, soprano leads the way through verse.
As in ambience of sound, alto and tenor follow in step behind.
And sometimes baritone and bass come too.

While along with Ivory's keys,  the emotions candour away,
Respectfully, vibrato stands to its feet to meet harmony.
These two kiss,  then meander through the melodic chorus of life.

Lest forgotten, orchestra, the mainstay of this libretto, commands attention,
Gracfully, she lilts her very own tales in rhythmic silk and satin
Along for the journey, strings, percussions and woodwinds lend collective hands.

But the score is not always sweet, for discord is selfish, and desires infamy .
Spoiled pitch and colliding notes can easily destroy the halcyon of sound.
But the skilled maestro can restore order within the orchestral chaos.

So again the singer can take center stage, and once more breathe her vocal gems.
And in familiar key, with voice lifted high, life follows the staff and trodden path,
Now without haste,  its temporal strings, allegretto, are strummed once more.

Cresendo and decrescendo take turns distributing their fates,
and in highs, and lows, the acoustic crystal continues to shine its radience.
Now treasured, this gift of sound will live until the final curtain is drawn

Thanks to you both.  Glad you like it. Music is a huge part of my life, that is why this poem came to me the way it did.

As a fellow musician. . . the title of this poem was what grabbed me first. . . then the poem itself, a composition showing the harmony of life. . .

The echoes still resound. . .

Excellent!!!
