To God's Palace In memory of V. Vysotsky Feel no pity! Do not pardon! Drive them farther,-- Through the snow and slush! From the flogging, from the ardor, muscles harden And the haggard horses rush! But the trail quickly coarsens, weather worsens And you’re out of breath. Be more lively! To God’s doorsteps, whip your horses Or you’ll freeze to death! Whip them faster, -- let blood boil! stir the soil With their hoofs, with wheels! Let them labor, let them toil! Blizzards coil, Swirling through the fields! Tracks are covered, all seems blurry! -- Lost in flurry Of the foreign land! Heaven’s opened, do not worry! Weave your story To the very end! < !signature--> Check out my poetry here: http://cafepoetry.com/stage1/andrey_kneller.htm#My%20Hamlet [This message has been edited by Master (edited 08-24-2000).] |

Master, what a skillful display! This is just superb! ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

Your pen is sharp these days, sir. Love the frantic needy feel of this...but then, I would...lol....know that I am a fan of yours...thank you. |
