Bittersweet Memorium A day like no other... Memories rage bringing ache. On this day a life was lost, And with it a piece of my heart. There's no filling this void, No comforting words... Just my tears and the pain, To go with the memories that remain. If I could see her again, I'd say just three words-- Words I didn't share before, Words I took for granted, leaving much regret. Oh Mom, if I could see you now, Do you know the words I'd say? I wonder if you ever knew, Before you passed away? I wonder if you knew... "I love you." In memory of my mother who became an angel Aug. 23, 1998. The woman with the biggest heart of gold, Josephine Martin. |

On this bittersweet anniversary, you have my heartfelt condolences. I, like so many here, know well that taste, remembering the glad times, along with the sadness such endings bring. And know that she knew your love, even if such was not spoken as often as you now wish. Actions have ever spoken louder. Pax Christu Alicat P.S.: I liked this one so much, I just had to send it as an ecard to my mom...just to let her know I love her while I still have her. Thank you for the reminder.
