~ Lost in His Soul ~
by poetFemmeFatale

He breathes as I breathe - our senses the same
His touch is the thunder & I am the rain.
The stars above gave us the very same soul
He whispers, I listen - together we're whole.

He is the passion & I am desire
He is the ember of my purest fire.
Whenever he speaks, his words hold my heart
He's my reflection though we are apart...

I know where I am - I am lost in his soul
Longing to reach him, though not in control.
To reach out & touch him, I know he would feel
A touch so secure & a love so sureal...

I echo his pain but I catch all his tears
They go in my pocket - I've held them for years.
Tear-stained, I lean in to soft kiss his eyes
I hold him with words as his soul softly sighs...

He hears all my thoughts as his eyes close in sleep
My soul truly loves him - may stars this wish keep -
Wish as I may as I feel him tonight
Be lost in his soul - yet be his guiding light...

Inspired by,"Yet another soul is lost in my eyes..."  B.S.H.

Gen is back, missed you.   I still have the opening paragraph to our poem, maybe we can actually finish it LOL.  I don't know how long you have been back but long work hours means that I can't spend as much time as I want at Passions. Anyway a beautiful poem, tender and delicate. Welcome back

Hi Gen, I am not new, but have been at Dark Passions until recently. This is the most gloriously perfect poem, romantic, flawlessly written. I am overwhelmed. It hit me directly in the heart. Thanks.

Well, this is the first of your work that I've read, since I'm pretty new here (as you can see by my pathetic number of posts), but it was beautiful.  Very touching and deeply romantic.

Great work!

Wonderful to read you again PoetFemme!  This was beautifully romantic ... such tender sentiments reaching out and back to reminisce on how deeply you are connected to this soul. Very nicely penned!

Best wishes,
/Kit
