Queen Of Hearts

Slowly and deliberately,
She walked into the room.
All heads now turned,
As they smelled her sweet perfume.
A wink she gave to one,
A nod she smiled at two.
For she's the queen of hearts.
Sure bets are her main rule.
"Have a seat", one said.
As another pulled out her chair.
They were letting down their guard.
For the queen of hearts was there
"Deal me in boys, lets ante up,
The game is five card stud,
And nothing wild,
Did I get that right?"
"Now gentlemen you know this is my game,
And every hand I'll take,
Be careful as you bet,
I'm watching for mistakes".
Two aces she was dealt,
Her face gave nothing away.
I'm out..I fold,
One by one,
They began to say.
The room was hers now,
As she easily settled in.
These betting men were playing,
A game they could not win.
For it really wasn't their money,
She so desired to take,
But their very soul and spirit,
She intended now to break.
Her charm and southern ways,
Are not to be denied.
So gentlemen beware,
For the queen of hearts is waiting,
To gamble with your life.

What a poem!!!

I like poker myself, but I would never play with this queen of hearts. Its sounds like there was nothing wild at the table but her. Plus I would never gamble with my life.
Again excellent poem. You answered the challenge very well.
