Take it then. This stupid heart. Take these words. They only hurt. Make me act with sense for once. A shaman to remove this curse. I do not want to love again. Do not touch, don't call me friend. Lead me to a mountain cave, where sins of love can be forgave. A Priestess then, whose only lust is but become the sparkle dust to glitter in eternity-- Forget me love, and turn from me... I tire of hope and the demise transforming joy to tired lies... O Love, the master of disguise, is but a thief, robs tears from eyes. There is no answer-- question why. I do not weep. This well is dry. So go then. Turn your back to me. Steal your brine from depth of sea... If loveless I am meant to be, leave but the heart he gave to me... a memoir of the days of old... a lesson learned to love the cold. |

I relate all too well to how this feels when one walks out the door, but sometimes the hurt is not worth a few moments of joy. **Sigh** Wonderful writing here my friend. Well said.
