A Game Of Chance...(response to Local Rebels challenge) By Garfield Love is a gamble Like a game of Roulette Shall one take the gamble Or will this game, they regret. What shall one ante up Bonds, money, silver, or gold Shall one open up their heart And let hands grasp at their soul. Love is a game of dice Containing a lot of despire, and despised One often gets bit by the serpant If a role comes up snake eyes. Poker is more the game That one should elect to play The face of 13 cards displays hearts 39 others contain clubs, diamonds, & spades. So ante up your heart Put your emotions on the table You may win at this game of cards If you believe love conquers all; your able... TO WIN THIS GAME OF CHANCE Garfield |

yep, sometimes it's a game! You did a great job meeting and exceeding the challenge presented... still working on mine...  enjoyed the read... nicely done! ~ all you can really ever expect out of life is a good apology and some decent poetry ~ |

Hello! I'm an old-timer here who has been gone for a while, and this is the first piece of yours I've read! You have some really great lines in this! *sigh* I don't know anything about gambling though - maybe that's why I'm so darn cautious in love...Maybe someone in here can teach me how to play, and then I'll be more BRAVE in the game of love too!
