As a poet I'm prolific
an Asimov of metered verse
oh wait there's Marge
she's just terrific
and of course Prometheus

Mmoonchild known as Maureen
makes me softly sigh,
with verse of astounding beauty
that almost makes me cry
Hardrock emotions plunder
at bequest of life's travail,
a seaman showing wonder,
that makes me gasp and wail

Isis goddess of morning
writes song of faith, good cheer
but I return for laughter
to naughty Balladeer

Sudhir, Sudhir, beloved one
I love to sing your praise
your Haiku and metered song
comforts me most days
Nikolette called Sadness
wrenches my heart so
while Brian writes a fearful tale
leaves, chills that just won't go

When I'm feeling pensive
Spitfire comes to rouse
with poems of great courage
the best in Passion's house,
new to me is Sunny1,
I think we could be friends
I relate to her verse that
leaves me breathless in the end

The Lil-one and Elmo
Virgin, JamieLee, Bluebird
I 'specially want them to know
their pain is clearly heard

Then there's Mark who writes so well
and challenges my mind
everywhere I look, I new friends
at Passion's find
I'm maybe not prolific,
at Passion's place I've learned
you give one iota of yourself
it's thousand-fold returned.

but it is the loss that shapes the image,
gathers the flowers weaves the garland."-

Thank you Sudhir, It's always a pleasure to read and respond to your work. I fairly new here so it's nice to see a name I recognise.
Be well

Kethry,
You are so right, you do truly get back a thousand fold in return. Passions has been at times for me a bridge over troubled waters. In times of distress, you need only to open the Passions forum to find frienship and support, and a lot of great poetry. This is a fine tribute to the poets at Passions

Thank you Liz,
After reading your locust poem tonight. I'm wondering where I can fit you into the mix.
Be well

Hi Kethry,

This is so sweet, yes passions is a place you never want to leave, and there is never a lack of friendship and love to anyone who is in need, wonderful read.

Love, Cerenity

Cerenity - you honor me with praise.

Ladysixstring - if cleverness isn;t a word it should be let's make it one now.
Sunny1 - friends it is. I'm looking up your email address as I write.

Paula - thanks for the bump and the kind words.

Dawn - always lovely to hear from you, thanks.

Thank you Wayoutwalt. I haven't seen any of your work, though I know you're not new being a senior member and all, which forum do you post at.

CocBaci - Thanks, I also view about eleven although it probably some ungodly hour in your part of the world. It seems when I post the clock tells me it's four in the morning of the day before or something like that.

Oh2beme. Thank you. The line about naughty balldeer slipped out before I could stop them then they refused to leave the page. What can you do?

Be well
Kethry
