Tonight I saw a new star When I opened my backdoor, Knowing in my heart noone's Seen it there before. Back inside before my comp I surfed the Internet; And with its coordinates Noone's named it yet. An apoplectic fit I almost had, So great was my glee; If first I was to name it I'd be known for eternity! I finally got through the Registry And shared of my delight, And learned that my star Was an Hispanic satellite! Alicat, the Persnikitty < !signature--> As I sit here dimly thinking Watching modem lights a-blinking Churning out poetic hash. PdV: Thanky ma'am. You might notice that I've edited the poem...thought about what you said, and reckoned that poetic license can only go so far. Marge, Paula, jwesley, Wet, and Lone Wolf: Glad you liked it, and that it brought a wee bit of pleasure.
