This intensity Burning inside of me Echoes thoughts of you Inside my mind Resounding your eyes back at me Raw emotions Maybe I need you Or maybe I need this Can you give me something real to hold on to? And not just a prayer for a dream? Should I wait for you? Should I wait for a kiss? Could I ever tell you? I need you more than this That in echoed thoughts of you we kiss Imaginary conversations unfold But I don't know what you say At least in dreams you're mine alone Echoed throughout my day |

~"Can you give me something real to hold on to?",....what very strong words you ask and with such desperation. This poem speaks volumes of want and need and passion. Well expressed. Nice writing. Take care B. *Peace. |
