Quinella’s Dream, Quinella’s Midnight Reverie [Part III]

To take myself o’er yon hill
to Wizard

to pray

would Wizard grant my
wish, to cast thy
spell,
woven well
throughout moon’s coming

moon’s light beam

and entreat perhaps
Sir Knight,
good Knight

in darkest of raiment
come to me

hitherto my call of heart
to heart

O! cast away thy foolish
thought

and reason not
with thyself, callous girl!

No moment shall
thee spend

with such virtuosity

too young! too young!

O! but my center
breaks

where I should hold my
heart

and in banter with
both the appalling and respectable
of self

I would chasten e’en my heart
but!

O!

To see thy kindest face O Knight,
once more in worship’s trance
shall I entreat only of you

Ah, yes, to take myself o’er
blackest hill
to yon Wizard

and promise

O he will ask for much
but to give pledge
for thy face
to come
again

and Wizard will look
deep, and know I
mean naught to him,
but he will accept
the pledge

and he will cool the drink

and to my lips
shall the vial be placed

and I will then,

sip draught

and await

the Knight….

Ah! blessed be me...
when the divine rays
of the sun shines
shines upon me

Ah! I say the
sequel to the story
is a sequel in itself,
and the charm sustains

Ah! the form of expression
choicest, endearing,
loving to the eye
and mesmerised remain I

I remain and so I do...

is there a 4 coming up,
O poetess of the Ra
is there, as I await
the next light to come
and glow within,
and upon this being
O poetess of the Ra,
is there more divinity
to shower, is there?
if there be another
shower, bless me still
bless me more
for I seek to bathe
my body and soul in
the glory of thy poetry
the glory of thy verse,
the glory of thy divine glow
the glory of thy shadow...
----
My regards,
sudhir

I was walking out the door when I decided to hit the "refresh" button one last time just to see what popped up.  Oh, I just had to read... and I'm glad I did.  I'll be 7 minutes late for work but this was well worth it!!!!  *S*

this dream just keeps getting better and better.  Thank you for indulging us so quickly and so wonderfully.  I will be patient for the 4th and 5th and so on.  So please know I thank you for your quick and wonderful wit.  Now go enjoy yourself and read some or simply take a breather....you have earned it so well.  Lovely verses of haunting melodrama.....addicted I am.

Thank you Mark! I'm following the 'rules' of only posting 3...frustrating, but I'm sure everyone is tired of me now...

and yes, there will be a 4, 5,...6

Its obvious you put a lot of yourself into this poem, Karilea.  The way it flows, and yet it  holds onto the pauses.  Terrific!
