For All Time ... And, so, I remember a few tiny steps feeling like a thousand miles When alone there was nothing ever real behind this smile I'd carry the burdens of waking when the sun had shone Never a heart I cared enough to even call home... Then eyes wide open I saw the world at last I then walked a million miles before the moment had passed Without a weak or worn journey now below my feet I found myself stepping along on golden streets... Now, Girl, I carry you with me on every road I can take And, for all time you are with me and every memory I make So, just picture the path you have paved ahead for me And, for all time, My Friend, you have set me free... Watch me move now, Girl, throughout all those lights I dance my best, My Friend, when I can dance at night And, the stars light my way as they hang in the sky For all time I'll shine as they do when the clouds pass by... For all time I will sing just like the wind in the fall Because in you, I can find a melody here in it all And, like the sound when the wind becomes strong then dies down My voice will be heard for all time just as yours I had found... For all time I will live life just to live it with you So, forgive me if I hold onto you still the whole night through For when I sleep I just wait for your hand in mine And, dream with that feeling I hold for now and all time... Still yet I can laugh for reasons the whole world should see And, for all time I can breathe just as long as you love me And, I pray that for all time there will always be us And, that you'll know now and for all time I've loved you this much...
