Waiting ~Knight Dreams~ Sun hanging low now. with golden rays here fading. There upon my horse, I sat there just debating. You never saw me there. But I loved you from the start. While you only said my name. I had given you my heart, When others had your eye. It was me there on the phone. Hoping you would notice. But I sat alone. To see you kiss another, Was more than I could take. So I took another girl, But trust me she's a "fake." I always knew that I was yours, Simply for the asking. So I waited for your love, My tears I was a masking. Now I'm waiting by the woods. For you to come to me. Darkness seem to come on fast It's you I hope to see. The light of day now passing. WIth tears alone, I'm helpless For the night has come and gone, with nothing but the darkness. [This message has been edited by Knight Dreams (edited 08-17-2000).] |
