What She Doesn’t See

She does not ever glimpse herself
even through the radiance in your eyes
she cannot perceive that she could be
something of an enigmatic surprise

she cannot ever envision the depths
to which she makes you plummet
nor would she ever accept as true
she helped you reach God’s high summit

she does not know that you see in her green eyes
total devotion, loyalty, devoid of compromise
she would not ever believe herself to belong
and be the very heart’s tune of a favored song

she feels fortunate just indeed
that to her you fly God speed
and lay beside her every night
and bring to her passions light.

....
WOW, what romanticism... melody flowing with words...

... may I add ...
She does not possess the knowhow or the art of love
for she is herself art, a pitcher brimful of love,
crafted by the Maker with a beauty special and surreal
guided by Cupid's dart itself with love's own feel

....

Wonderful work, Karilea...

sudhir

This shows the purity of your heart and the sincerity in your belief.  I have come to know just a little tid bit of you through your poetry and I know there is so much more I could never see, but I want you to know that I cherish the doors you have opened.  Beautifully presented and in your ever so inspiring way.  Thank you much.

Sunshine
I'm one of those hopeless romatics. Loved your poem.  It made me reminisce about the courtship between me and my wife.

Sudhir
I liked the verse you added to Sunshine's poem. It added that extra dimension.

Nice poem Sunshine...sometimes we need to look at ourselves through others eyes to truly get a glimpse of the person we really are. I know I am my worst critic and thanks to friends here, I've learned to look at myself a bit differently, through their eyes and for once in my life, I like the person I see

Sunshine, How lovely.
I have selected a line from your poem that says so much about you and your inner beauty.
You ARE a favored song! Love, Marcy

"she would not ever believe herself to belong
and be the very heart’s tune of a favored song"

Written so beautiful, I suspect this could apply to you as your poems are so great.  People with your beauty inside do not even realize just how special they are to others.
